FITTINGS AND FIXTURES FOR SALE

Apart from the normal gallery hanging systems a number of distinctive fixtures and fittings are available for purchase at advantageous prices.

The experience of CM&A in the design and construction of galleries can optimise the display of artworks, maximising the art that can be displayed in any given area and enhancing the impact of the art within any given space.

This experience includes spearheading the design of unique fixtures and fittings for both day to day operations and travelling exhibitions.

These fittings and fixtures were also created with a view to being sometimes installed in historic buildings, ensuring the preservation of both the artworks and their surroundings.

For any Gallery these fittings and fixtures can greatly increase the number of artworks on offer to the public whilst minimising the need for large premises and the associated rent.

There are four light display cabinets, two sculpture walls and a matching storage unit and three sliding wall systems available for sale.

LIGHT DISPLAY CABINETS

Having designed and constructed 18 permenant exhibition galleries across the Eastern States of Australia the one core principal is to make the exhibitions interesting for the public displaying paintings, sculptures and promotional material together.

The overriding design principle of any Private Gallery is the simple premise that the core function is to sell artworks.

The use of Light Display Cabinets for small sculptures or paintings greatly increases the number of artworks on display in any floor area. These light display cabinets could also display jewellery, footware or other accessories

DISPLAY WALL

The wall was designed and created to allow the exhibition of a substantial number of fully lit sculptures, far in excess of the number which can be exhibited in the light boxes shown in the first image above.

The sculpture wall was designed and created to allow the exhibition to offer the public a substantial number of fully lit sculptures, far in excess of the number which can be exhibited in the light boxes shown in the first image above.

This display wall can also be used to display story boards, brochures or other marketing material. These light display cabinets could also display jewellery, footware or other accessories

The wall was originally installed in an historic building surrounded by sandstone walls. It has since been painted a more dramatic black.

SLIDING WALL SYSTEMS

Over 20 years ago only a small gallery space was available in a highly desired area in Brisbane. To optimise the number of paintings being offered to the public a system of sliding walls were designed and constructed thus greatly multiplying the number of paintings being offered to the public in a small area.

The sliding systems were designed with historic buildings in mind and have their own floors. Secondly these sliders were created with the track on the bottom of the sliders avoiding the cost of drilling into the ceiling and suspending the sliders. Again this recognises the requirements of historic buildings.

The sliding wall systems come complete with their own LED lighting systems.

The fixtures being offered for purchase shall be sold well under replacement cost. Interested parties should email cmandaconsultancy@gmail.com with a phone number so we can ring to provide pricing and discuss the options.

FITTINGS

Apart from the fixtures being offered there are a substancial number of fittings that are essential to the operation of a gallery including hanging rails, strings, hooks and plinths.

These are available at a 30% discount to any similar offering.
